What To Do

Students are to continue going through each tab to learn more about the fight for freedom throughout U.S. history. As you are visiting each tab, make sure to see the examples given under the Freedoms tab which will give you 4 examples of the fight for freedom throughout American history.

Students should ask questions throughout each example in order to go deeper in their thinking. Try to think of other examples in U.S. history where fighting for freedom stands out. This will help prepare you for your end of the year project.

Don’t forget to think about the time and sequence in which these events are occurring. What does it mean to have freedom in this context? How is freedom changing over the different examples of the fight for freedoms?
